Nayef Ghoul

My name is Nayef Ghoul, born in Sweden 1992 and raised by a Moroccan mother who taught me everything I know. She is a former musician which inspired me early on to pursue my artistic passion. I have been doing different types of filmmaking since 2012 and got my Masters degree in Documentary processes from Stockholm University of the arts in 2022.

You’ll find a mix of themes and inspirations in my films. I try to involve my own subconscious thoughts in my films, and love mixing different elements to convey a message. I always stay open and have fun when I’m creating by being experimental and trying new ideas and angles before I stick to one. I would say go with the flow is definitely my mode of working.
